Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the websites, the public gift finder, and the merchant dashboard and embeddable widget (together, the “Service”) operated by Engift ApS (CVR DK32774342), Mariendalsvej 55, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark (“Engift”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you’re using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Accounts

You’re responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Account owners control billing; admins manage stores and team members but not billing. You must provide accurate information and be authorised to connect any product feed or store you add.

3. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Plan limits and entitlements are described on our pricing page and enforced by the Service. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the customer portal; on cancellation you keep paid access until the end of the current period, after which the account reverts to the free tier.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break security or rate limits, no scraping that you’re not authorised to perform, and no use that infringes others’ rights. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other customers at risk.

5. Your content & catalog data

You retain ownership of the product data and content you provide. You grant us the licence needed to operate the Service — to ingest, index, and display your catalog in the finder and widget. You’re responsible for having the rights to the feeds and data you connect.

6. Availability & changes

We work to keep the Service available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, and we’ll give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Engift isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
