Who we are

Engift provides an AI gift finder and an embeddable in-shop finder for stores. The data controller is Engift ApS (CVR DK32774342), Mariendalsvej 55, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights over it.

Data we process

For merchants: account and contact details, team membership, billing metadata (handled by our payment processor — we don’t store full card numbers), and the catalog data you connect. For shoppers: the inputs you give the finder and anonymous usage events. We never put personal data or identifiers in URLs — wishlist share links use opaque random tokens.

Where it’s stored (EU)

Our database is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). We process data under the GDPR and apply row-level security so each account’s data is isolated from others.

How we use it

To provide and improve the Service: running recommendations, operating your dashboard and widget, processing billing, sending transactional email (e.g. team invitations), and measuring aggregate, non-identifying usage to improve conversion and reliability. We don’t sell your personal data.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links, which may set a cookie at the destination retailer or its affiliate network so a resulting purchase can be attributed to Engift. See our partners & affiliate disclosure for the networks involved.

Your rights (export & deletion)

You can request export or permanent deletion of your personal data. Every personal-data record in Engift supports export and hard-delete — email hi@engift.com and we’ll action it within the timelines the GDPR requires.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Any non-essential analytics default to off until you consent, and carry no directly identifying information.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small set of vendors to run the Service (hosting/database, payments, email, and error/analytics tooling). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
